The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the large range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie read more and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area each day.
